Question #3:
I'm embarrassed by my "White" roommate living across from me?
fashion wise, he'd wear a tight shirt with shorts with high socks matched with a different variety of colored evsport shoes. I'm embarrassed whenever he's around and whenever my friends visit me at my house. Firstly, we live in the city, we don't live in the country part of South Korea. Secondly, I've dropped hints and closed my door on his face, and he still annoys me every morning until dawn. I'm hesitant to meet my friends whenever he's around, but I don't want to be rude to a foreigner who plans to stay here permanently. Last night, we went to a sushi bar and he said if I could treat him. I paid a large amount of money, and he smiled and walked out and didn't bother saying thank you to me.Why are White people embarrassing if not annoying? and they're also extremely shameful and ungrateful.
Question #4:
Where do you store all the good stuff?
Beauty & Style > Fashion & Accessories > Frilly > UnderthingsQuestion #5:
Wouldn't the country go green in time if left up to the free market if only green products were available?
as replacements? Part of cap and trade is a stipulation that the building code in CA be met before a home can be sold. If you need to replace the toilet, you can only buy toilets that save water. If you need to replace your washing machine and all you could buy were energy efficient washing machines that is what you would buy? Why do the same manufacturers offer both with the old fashioned energy guzzlers at a much lower price than the energy efficient ones?Soon the only light bulbs available will be energy efficient. Manufacturers can only stay in business if they offer what the people want. Appliances and fixtures only last 10-15 years. Couldn't homes become green with the free market rather than forcing such expenses on people who can't afford to do it all at the same time?

Question #8:
What kind of career should I have?
As of right now, I'm a journalism major in my second year of college. I picked it because I really didn't know what else to choose at the time. I don't know if it's a right fit for me. I'm trying to decide on a career that I would fit in well with, make decent money ($40K+ a year) and can support a family on. I was going to list some of my attributes, and I would like for people to give their honest opinions on what would be a good fit for me.-I like working with people, but I hate being tied down in a team setting.
-I'm used to dealing with pressure, but I don't really thrive in it like some do.
-I can speak English, Japanese (fluently), and French (semi-fluently).
-I don't think in linear fashion, and my thoughts tend to be sporadic.
-I'm horrible with math and numbers, but I can come up with creative solutions for almost any problem. Basically, I tend to think with my right brain more.
-I like jobs where I'm using more of my brain, and less physical activities.
-I'm extremely motivated when I'm inspired or have external motivation
-I can type at 60+ wpm
-I'm great at coming up with different scenarios or approaching problems from new angles.
-I have great sales and relations skills, but I hate being in a performance-pay based environment. I prefer salaried positions.
So what does everyone think? Your input is much appreciated!

I wouldn't typically refer to Answers, but I'm just shocked at the moment. A little encouragement, if you can?
Please note that there isn't actually a question here, so, if you don't wish to read the below, then it is perfectly understandable.Alright, well, I'm not one to divulge my personal problems on the Internet, but I'm absolutely thunderstruck at the moment. I'm a fourteen-year-old girl; if one were to use a commonly-attributed stereotype to describe me, then I'd be called the basic, average, abstruse, illy-reputed nerd. My temperament, however, is beside the point when it comes to my present situation.
I have a very, very close friend - my best, from my perspective. He's absolutely wonderful. We get along phenomenally; there isn't a single thing that I would change about him if I were to be given the opportunity. Our passions ("interests" would be a less intense way of stating it), goals, and [most importantly] wants in a friendship intertwine. We may talk about anything at all: our problems, our joys, any odd little thing that we think of over the course of the day. As I've told him several times, he means a lot to me; he's told me the same. I love him entirely (strictly as a friend, of course), because he is one of the few people in front of whom I may act freely, and with happiness. I could go on abidingly in this fashion, but I just felt that it was important to stress how much he means to me.
Now, the question comes about. He's a very hard-worker, but we are currently a little ways into our summer vacation. His mother, whom I also like and respect very much, and who seems to like me, feels that he is not being very productive with his time. She has thus said on two separate occasions that she may send him back to China, whence he and his family came some time before I met him. Now, neither I nor he are certain as to whether or not she meant this seriously, but, upon hearing of it, I felt completely wretched. I honestly don't know what I'd do without him. I've told him that I'd do anything that I can to help; that if I'm the problem, then that he doesn't have to talk to me. Apparently, I'm not; he's going to do the C.O.M.C. to attempt to show her that he is using his time wisely. I don't know - there isn't much of a question here, I'm just extremely useless at the moment, and need a bit of encouragement.
To Julie: Well, thank you, but I highly doubt that. She did think a girl was a problem, but it certainly wasn't me (another of our close friends). And, to be perfectly honest, that could never happen: he doesn't like me, I don't like him, and I'm just not that kind of girl - I've never dated, and don't intend to until I'm at least twenty-four.
I feel down because he's my best friend, and it's been suggested that he's moving to another country.
Just an additional note: I wrote this in a flurry of emotion, so I came off as more obsessed than usual. I'm really very guy-ish, which is why I have many guy friends, and none of their parents mind my spending time with them. I'm not a threat in that sense - I'm not at all pretty, I'm very nerdy, and I'm boring. Nothing desirable here.

Women...what do you think?
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breath life into his nostrils. But you woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone, I fashioned you. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone I shaped you, I modeled you, I created you perfectly and beautifully.
Your characteristics are as the rib: strong, yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The ribcage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart.
Support man as the ribcage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken for his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand by him and to be held close to his side.
You are My perfect angel… you are My beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and My eyes fill when I see the virtues in your heart. Your eyes… don’t change them. Your lips, how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose, so perfect in form. Your hands, so gentle to touch. I have caressed your face in your deepest sleep. I have held your heart close to Mine. Of all that lives and breaths, you are most like Me. Adam walked with Me in the cool of the day, yet he was lonely. He could not see Me or touch Me.
He could only feel Me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with Me, I fashioned in you; My holiness, My strength, My purity, My love, My protection, and support. You are special because you are an extension of Me. Man represent My image, woman My emotions. Together, you represent the totality of God.
So man, treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile. In hurting her, you hurt Me. What you do to her, you do to Me. In crushing her, you only damage your own heart; the heart of your Father and the heart of her Father. Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness, show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.

fyi, I didn't write it. I found it.
Mfh H: Women are equal to men, read the part about where Adam's rib was taken from.
You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken for his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand by him and to be held close to his side.
Another thing...I'm a girl! NOT a guy!
I was NOT created to "suit man's fancy." I was created to worship God and recieve his grace and his love.
He does love all of us, but I feel like men and women share a different kind of connection with God. Although, both have a connection.

Question #19:
BADLY NEED ADVICE YA?
Everytime I call or come visit my boyfriend, his mom always ask me when I'm going to cook. I'm getting to the point where I'm sick and tired of her asking me that. Now my boyfriend's mother is an old fashion haitian women who just cooks, clean, and stay home mom. Ever since she came to my house, which is a two story house compared to her living next to a drug dealer. She ask me if I clean my house, or when I'm going to take her to do her hair, or when I'm going to take her to the mall so I can buy clothes for her. She thinks my me and my parents are rich and we are not, we are struggling just like any middle-class family.I talk to her but not about my relationship with her son. I on the other hand, I go to college and work and have no time to cook with all the studying I'm doing, but I know how to cook, just no time for it. I call her phone because my boyfriend's phone is disconnected and did not have a job. Sometimes I hope she doesn't answer it because I don't want to talk to her. I feel like she wants to tell her my personal business to her. Like the other day I was calling my boyfriend but she picked up the phone asking me how much I get paid at work and I just cut the conversation and asked her if I can talk to her son. Then she started say "Oh, you don't want to talk to me" and I didn't say nothing. Does she like me or not. I'm confused. Advice yaQuestion #20:
How do you get over being scared of relationships?
Okay, so I am nineteen years old and have never even dated. I am not ugly or pretty and I think I am seen as a nerd because I always got good grades in high school. However, I think that even if I really, really like a guy, if he asked me out I would say "no". The main reason being that I could never handle being in a sexual relationship...i feel it would make me vulnerable and full of guilt. I think it has to do a lot with my parents, especially my dad being so old-fashioned.My dad said he doesn't want to meet any of my potential boyfriend until we are going to marry.
and he always talks about how people have no morals and have sex before marriage.
I am not even a religious person but my father makes it hard for me to even want to be in a relationship!!
